Can anyone tell what "2" means in the seat type on a build sheet

Found that one prior! Seat type was 6 thanks though! Just trying to figure if the seats in the black magic are suppose to be recarros or not! Going to try try and get some pics up today if time agrees with me!

The Black Magic option's standard interior was low-back bucket seats with Black vinyl and Sand cloth inserts. According to the dealer literature on Mike's (negusm's) 'site, Recaro seating WAS NOT available with the '81 Black Magic option and WAS available (black only) with the '82 Black Magic option.

The Black Magic option was available for part of '83 but Recaro seating was not.

The "INT. TRIM" code is on the Vehicle Certification Label ("door sticker").

YA = Black/Sand ('81-'83)
TA = Black Recaro ('82 only)

You said the rear seating looked like it had Recaro or Recaro-type material on it. So neither the front nor the rear seats in your BM seem to be original.

We still need pics!

Well, the code doesn't lie. :p AND your BM is an '81, at least according to the VIN you posted. Recaro seating wasn't available with the BM option that year. Your seats are supposed to be Black vinyl w/ Sand cloth inserts, just like this:

Get some pics up today! Just put the Gt in my Album from when I first bought it! it took about 15 min to load but Ill get the BM on here today
