FoxChassis has locked my For Sale post and I'm not sure why.
I have always abided by the rules of this forum because it's kept under control and I respect those who work so hard to do this. I agree with the purpose of this Forum and it has been a pleasure for me to be a part of it.
I went back and reread the rules again, as I like to keep up to date with them.
#1 States "Location required for ALL ads". That's not the problem.
#2 states "Ad Titles and Terminology- Please be as descriptive as possible in the TITLE of the ad. Ad titles need to state FOR SALE/FS, WANTED/WTB, FREE or TRADE as applicable" I thought I'd done that. Maybe I need to put some of what's in the text in the title.
#3 "Selling Parts". I have over 300 posts. Not the problem.
#5 "Cars parting out". I'm not parting any cars. Not the problem.
Fox Chassis is asking for a list. That's not mentioned in any of the rules. Due to the number of parts I have accumulated, that's nearly impossible. I need to move some of these parts due to lack of short term storage. I must move them inside somewhere or sell some before the weather takes it's toll.
If there is some question about the validity of what I say, I'll be glad to post a picture of the damage so everyone can see what I'm up against.
Thanks to all for your time, Bruce.

Your ad isn't very descriptive which is one of the requirements. You simply put "large collection of interior and exterior trim parts, etc.....(too much to list)." That could very well include items that require pictures. It makes it easier for everyone to know exactly what it is you're trying to sell.

Bumper Covers (front and rear)
Fenders
Hoods
Doors
Hatches
Trunk Lids
Quarter Panels (sheet metal, not interior)

Don't feel bad, I have had several of my postings deleted in the past.

I feel for ya! I think that some posts get locked for silly reasons- yours included. If anyone wants to part a car out to sell it there is really no way for anyone else on this board to know that as there a plenty of to get around these rules. If someone wanted to sidestep the rules a strip out a good car he could, pretty easy and still be within the rules. My opinion, take it for what it's worth. Robert

I feel your pain but I also see the reasoning behind it, Everyone on here has at one time or another been scammed by someone. Pictures and good descriptions cover you as a seller as well as a potential buyer while at the sametime warding off potential scammers. I have had the same thing done to me but its all for the betterment of this site(and I realize that), Dont hold hard feelings for someone trying to police the classifieds in an effort to keep everyone honest. Pease dont take this as me saying youre not an honest person, I feel everyone is trustworthy until proven not so. Like the old saying "Locks keep honest people honest"

My concern is that there are no replies from any of the moderators about my concern. I'm not a scammer or a "butcher", check my Buyer/Seller Experiences.
It's hard to be more descriptive when I have so many parts. And, according to the rules, none require pictures. That is unless side trim fits the description of "body parts".
I have enjoyed the experience of this website for a few years now and will continue to "lurk" for the information I seek on these cars. Everybody elses knowledge on these cars is invaluable.
I currently have sixteen Fox body cars and at least eight of them are considered "limited production". That's why I bought them. Five of those are one or two owner cars and 90%+ original, although many are in need of some help. I am trying to save them.
I have spent the better part of three days trying to get these parts up and inside.
I have been referred to on this site as a "Fox body whore" and am proud of that.
So much for my rant.

I've been scorned by the moderators about mentioning I had parts for sale outside of the for sale forums. The way I was wording my posts I wasnt exactly breaking the rules but I was treading in the gray area in between. I just had to suck it up and folow the rules.
