give me your opinion guys. I am looking at a 20th anny T-top hatch that's a little rough. It runs and drives fine (except for a vacuum leak) but it needs interior and paint work as well as a set of wheels/tires to make it presentable. the good is that it's pretty straight with no rust and minimal body work (it does have a little bondo in the passenger door and qtr panel but not bad). buck tag verifies it's an anny car as well as the 17xxx VIN. Bad news is that the anny plaques are missing from the dash and it is a CFI/Auto car. Interior is rough and the car is primer gray.

I can pick it up for $800. Opinions?

If it's a running driving V8 '4-eye for $800, that's good enough reason IMO.

I've got one myself, (5 speed and not t-top though), and hell, for 800 bucks I'd take a second one to work on :)
