Ok Guys here's the scoop. I'm looking for a Fairmont or Zephyr that runs and drives. Car MUST be a V-8 and a stick is definetly a plus. RUST FREE!
If you have a fairly high dollar fairmont you have been thinking of selling... toss it out there.
Not big into boxtops but.... well you know how that goes.
My situation <living with GF> does not allow me to perform major work. Please no offers on cherry 4 or 6cyl cars, I cant do a swap under this roof.
Location is Long Island NY, the closer you are <transport fees> the better for me.
Thanks guys!

PERFECT race car platform !!!
It is a Fox chassis
it's a 1980 2 dr 'notch'. Bone stock with about 40K miles.
No rot, minor surface rust. I just spray bombed it with grey primer to make it one color. The lovely factory paint had pealed/faded real bad.
The interior is not bad. The seat is whooped and the headliner is toast. Carpet is clean but hey, it's blue >:P
The stock 2.3 is toasted. runs, but just barely. it BELLOWS white smoke so my guess is HG is fubar...regardless it's on it's last leg.
Has 5 lug conversion and Grand Marque Wheels. Subframe connectors.
The weight if this car is around 2600lbs stock ..... give or take
I have another stock NOS hood and NOS alum rear bumper...never installed.
Car is straight and in fine condition....just a few dings.
CAR HAS NO TITLE. Don't even ask!
I bought this car from a buddy in CT and come to find out that RI suddenly requires more than just the Bill-0-Sale. (new law). The guy has since had a messy break with his wife and has disappeared. CAR WAS LAST REGISTERED IN CT.
I don't have time to deal with this....nor do I care that much anymore. It just needs a new home.
$1200 Local pick-up only. Come get it :joy:

P.s.... I have the perfect 2.3T setup for this car for some extra coin :)

Good luck finding a stick Futura that's not priced crazy. There is a bastard coupe (chevy engine) on ebay right now but it's an automatic. You could buy it and sell the SBC to someone and put a real engine in it. No reserve posted in the ad.

Hi Ken and thanks for the reply.
Truth be told I sold my home last year. I'm living with my GF now and there is NO room to spin wrenches, much less transplant drivelines. Sold my 89 GT that was slated for my Fairmont donor.
Anyways what I'm looking for is a turn key car put together by a Ford guy, and not some slacker. Will I pay Top dollar? Perhaps, but its the only choice I have right now.
Take Care
