The 1984 Anny sold at Barrett-Jackson today for $6200.00. I would have guessed that it would sell for more in that environment. I guess that since it was lot #2, not a whole lot of people were there. A Mustang II sold for more.
Here is the link to the lot:

haha, well first off. thats not the kinda car you send to the barrett jackson auction. people don`t go there to buy a 3rd gen mustang, they want the cuda`s, charger`s, and vettes. It kinda bugs me that these cars arent worth that much but in a couple of years the price will sky rocket!

There's a couple more on the list:
#435.1 - Yellow 1990 with 5.0 5spd and quite a bit of mods.
#9047 - 1992 GT Vert with auto V8; not much info.

Someone got a deal. I'm surprised to see that kind of car there. I agree in 10 years some of the fox bodied mustangs will fetch a high price. I would love to own a mint 78 king cobra. Opps I think I just came out of the closet.

What a car sells for there is dependant on which day a car is up for sale and which Lot it is assigned.
In 2004, a modded 86 asc McLaren vert went for $27,000. That nearly twice what a low mile original goes for.

I cant even remember a ultra low mileage Cobra going that high.

there's a anny in my town...never talked to the guy about it, it's just sitting in his yard....oh and i have a set of rims that that, universal but it don't fit with the washers i got...they're like 13" or something, smaller than my trx....couldn't fit a jack under the rear end

I had those rims on my '76 mustang II. I still love these cars, unfortunatly when I owned it I had no money to do anything cool with it. In my area this body style is very rare so it stands out when a nice one rolls by.

I just saw the rerun on speed. that mustang 2 went for a little over 8 grand! it looked bone stock. that's why I'm hoarding all my stock stuff off my 86. maybe one day I can retire off it!

That modded ASC has a history behind it. I remember that same car from some sort of post shot back in the 90's when i was a blower technician at Paxton. Still looks as nice as i remembered it then.
