Here are all of the photos that my high school friend sent me of the (White) Black Magic that he has owned since 1982. Sweet car. Next time I will try to get some interior shots from him.
Sorry for the delay, but my scanner died and it took the new one a while to get here.

I wonder, since I know so little of these beautiful cars..... Are the tailight painted sections factory correct?

Yes, if you have one of the bodyshop parts breakdowns for the Capri's it actually lists the part #'s for the white ones! I hadn't seen one in so long I had forgotten about them. when I was looking at my sheets wondering why would they have white taillamps???

Agreed. Someone noted this when I posted a single photo a while back. It is on my list of things to ask the owner about when I next talk to him. My best guess is that the car was repainted at some point, and whoever did it put the badges in the wrong place.
As someone else noted, the white taillight area is stock. I always liked this feature, as it really set these cars apart from a regular Capri.

The mudflaps were really a necessary item on this car. My friend lives out in the country, such that he has plenty of traveling to do on gravel or dirt roads. Those mudflaps saved the car from a lot of damage.

I never thought a Capri had to set apart from other capris since I have never, until last weekend, seen two capris together in my life! hahaha...
Mudflaps were all the rage in the 1980s in Vancouver, BC...the rain and the snow were main culprits, not rocks...of course, the fenders also rusted from the holes drilled to put the flaps on...
NICE NICE CAR...thanks for sharing! Awesome. Makes you realize how crappy a job Ford did in 1987 (?) when they introduced those tailight COVERS on the GT. ugh...this is how it is supposed to be done - on your car that is.
