i think i found another white magic capri

it looks like one if not heres the door sticker and buck tag to be decoded for future reference.

the car is white with black interior with white inserts in the seats.
its 3.3 l6 auto equiped.

Does it have the gold grill, letters etc? Will need to see the pics to get a better idea on what it is.

No. There were two model lines and a whole MESS LOAD of exterior colors that could be purchased WITH that trim option.

It didn't make them Black/White Magics...just for 1982 anyways, a base Capri OR a Black Magic could get that interior.

I was unsure about it, but apparently with this car that outsider has found...yes. For 1982 anyways.

It was only available to the Black Magic Cars.

So for this car outsider has found to be built...it had to ONLY be a 1982, the buyer WANTED the Black Magic seats but did NOT want the Black Magic option!

Well, to read it literally "Available exterior colors on Capri Black Magic: 1C, Y, 6Z, 9D" would make me believe that yes, Black Magic's came in 4 colors. Or maybe it was supposed to say "Capri NON Black Magic", as in you could get that fabric in Capris of those 4 exterior colors, but without all the other associated trim. If the fabric was available with any Capri exterior color, why then separately list the full line of Capri colors below?

Exactly. The only reason I can think is that the fabric was not available with the RS/GS or L options....but available on the base Capri.

After looking at both color pages. The first page is a color compatability chart showing what interior, exterior,trim, and stripe color combinations will match well. In other words the customer could order a Capri L in the 2 vanilla as well as black and white exterior colors with the YA interior trim codes. However, the Black Magic was only available in white or black exterior color and either the YA or TA interior trim codes. Interestingly all the BM cars were L models with RS badging on the interior. looking in the 82 Capri sales brochure the L and RS could both be ordered with Black and gold cloth seats but not the black vinyl with gold cloth inserts that was reserved for the BM trimmed cars which were either black or white. I'll look in the factory shop manual tomorrow and see what they say about the YA interior trim package
