Nope, not porno red, deep Canyon red interior. Its my brothers car and I have ridden in it and drove it. The red interior is very nice in person, it is almost a very dark red/brownish color. It is one of the cleanest interiors I have ever seen -- except for the white spot on the dash. Ask Matt about that one. he he he.

Dominators and Twisters are both KC cars.
Matt, you suck and need to see the Capri.

White letters out look awesome on ten holes.
Hey Hoop, how's the capri coming along? I saw on KCIR that you were having a hard time with the intake swap. Is she running again?
The dominators were a special offering from summit ford in lee's summit, missouri. Mine came with hooker long tubes, 140 mph speedo, and dominator decals, of course. Since it was done at a dealership, and not recognized by ford, I'm not really sure it adds much value to the car outside of the kansas city area. I know when my brother and I went to look at it the day I bought it, there was a lot of other people waiting to look at it.

I had a whore of a time with a bolt snapping off in the t stat housing, screwed with it for a few nights, bought a performer intake and a 2bbl adaptor, got that all bolted up and timed to find that the guy doing the passenger side didn't button it up right and said F-it and gave it to a buddy to finish. It runs great now, Polished Holley 4160 and a performer 302 intake. All smog crap is gone. Next is subframes, more sound deadening in the hatch, shorties/h or x pipe and 2.5" superturbo catback. I need to reline up the hatch and get a new striker, it rattle a bit too much for my tastes.
Then maybe an 8.8"
Basically, when your only car is dead and the only time you can work on it is at night with one little light, stuff goes slow and tedious.

White letters are very 80s, and considering the vintage of this Mustang, there ain't a thing wrong with that. Beautiful car.

If white letters are so 80's, why didn't the Mustangs of that era come with them standard??? :)
Where I'm from, it's just considered kind of trashy. It just takes something away from an awesome car!

Glad the capri is coming along well, Hoop. If i kept it, that's what I was gonna do. Intake and carb, ditch the smog crap, and do full exhaust.
Hey Blue86, I am kind of trashy, so take it easy, man.:) :)

when are we gonna get together so I can see how slow my car really is?

We will get together one of these days. I'm in the process of gathering the parts to do the DA1 computer, upper intake and throttle body swap. Still gotta get some 3.55's put in too. Oh, and ripping the factory mid pipe off to lose the 4 cats. All of that should help performance a bit.
I bet the capri could hold its own. With that 4cyl T5, its got a lot of low end torque. I bet the 7.5 rear won't be living long. :)

It may have been a thing in the early 80s but it definitely started in the 70s.
