If yes, can you help me? I am in search of an SVO but I cannot see the attached photos on the SVOCA website because I am not a member and it takes 3 to 6 weeks to process a membership. Just looking for someone to forward a couple images from the "for sale" forum. Please I/M.
thanks,
Laredo

You can be a member of the forum instantly, a member of the CLUB takes 3-6 weeks. But the forum does not.

You just have to be a member of the site to view pics. Not a member of the club.

You have to have one of them paid for email addresses also, cause they dont seem to trust anyone unless you pay for an email addy. Never understood why people are judged for using free email addys

Its not so much a "paid" email, but an email that comes with your ISP's internet which EVERYONE should have if they have a decent internet provider.

I have a good internet provider, and have some sort of email thing that came with it, but I dont know how to use it. Have tried over and over, but am not good with computers. Its called outlook express. I get pissed easy so I dont try to figure it out anymore. I emailed the owner of the board to let me in with my yahoo account which Ive had for 7 years but no wayno. Im actualy going thru a great deal of **** to fix all the front end damage on my otherwise not worth anything 85 SVO, and keeping it a 4 pot. Oh well, guess Im on my own

Well Outlook Express sucks :) In some cases the ISP will offer a webpage based Email so a client on your computer isn't required. Also most companies have good guides to follow.

You don't really need to use the ISP address, just use it to register. Check the e-mail there once to do the registration and be done with it. I check my ISP e-mail address maybe once a month just to clear out the spam. Otherwise I just use my Yahoo and Gmail accounts exlusively.

FYI. Almost every board that I am a member of is doing the same thing with the Email addys.

Well if it isnt an SVO then your best bet for information would be either here or at turboford.

I'm considering killing off new registrations from Yahoo, MSN and AOL. Why? Because I'm sick and tired of having to fix the accounts of everyone who has email addresses there. Our email gets filed under spam or blocked completely. Those are the big three offenders.
If someone complains they're no longer getting emails from the board, I can be certain that it's one of those three email services. If someone changed their email address and didn't receive a confirmation email, same thing. And on and on it goes. Oh, and the worst part is, there are MANY times when someone emails me from that account, and although I reply, they do not get my replies, so I get a bunch of angry emails and they can't get my responses.
Spammers are the least of my worries, but generally Yahoo addresses are among the top non .ru spam addys that I get.
Small administrative rant. Sorry.

Outlook isn't that difficult. Sit down and figure it out. Take control of yourself and don't let it get to you.
