over the weekend we got the turbo motor in to my capri pulls good just need to get the turbo rebuilt or a new one it has a pretty good oil leak in it

well i cant rember i think we pulled the motor friday night and had the turbo one in by saturday afternoon? didnt get it running till sunday damn computer needing a ground

I sent kevin pics of a better location to tap the coil power and tach signal from also.
And if you ever blow a headgasket...just unplug the VAM, it should get you home just fine.

looks like you need the correct heater hose. yours look pinched

yeah i think im gonna put a peice of pipe in the hose if i cant find the molded hose

What harness did you use? It looks like a turbocoupe harness to me.
Well done. Its giving me inspiration to finish putting this TC motor into my SVO.

It was a 88 TC harness that he used, and yes it can be done in 2 days if you have everything you need available. The swap went surprisingly well, with very few complications considering the massive amount of changing we actually did.
It was a fun weekend all in all. I'm just glad it was running before I had to drive home :lol:

yeah it gets up ad goes pulls great then you push the clutch to shift and smoke just bellows out
