The seats in my '85 Marquis are not very good. They look fine, just have no support compared to my '99 Ranger. I thought if I had the foam replaced and added some pump-up lumbar supports they would be much better. I want to keep the car looking stock. Has anyone added these? What cars came with the Lumbar supports?
Thanks,

They can be added.... but why not just get the seats refoamed.... make them more firm.

I've contemplated doing this to my GT seats by taking out the guts of a later model lumbar seat and trying to place it into my GT seat when re-doing the seat. I typically like what Croke calls the '2 by 4 in the back' feeling of a LOT of lumbar. I have a jacked up back, so that's part of the reason why.
I'd like to see how someone else has tried this on a seat to get some ideas as to how I could give it a go myself.

As far as I remember the bladder just sits behind the pad and you can probably get it stuffed in there from below.
