I just moved here to this great state and live in the newport news penninsula area. I wanted to know who is out here to get together with, and what there is to do here that is Mustang related! I am excited to get hooked up out here.

Welcome. There are a few Mustang Shops around the 7 cities area and a lot of 5.0 lovers. I live in Portsmouth about 15-20 miles. I'm restoring an 84GT, we just dropped the engine in this week. I see you have a 71 Torino and 4x4 bronco. I have a 73 Challenger & 70 Cuda and I'm bringing home a new 90' Power Wagon on 38's this weekend.

I had a good time guys, and thanks again for the help. I will get things together shortly so we can get this car done. Unfurtunatly, the next time I get the car out there it will have to be on a trailer, the ride home just killed it and you could smell the car half a block away. Thankfully we have some trailers at work so it still wont really be a problem!

Give a yell when the install is going and I will clear my calendar to assist. What are you going to pull it with? The ranger?

I dont have faith in the Ranger! We have and couple of F-250's and an F-350 here at the office that I am sure we can get ahold of. The boss is really cool with that kind of thing! I will let you know though, thanks. BTW, is the check list correct: flywheel machined, rear main seal, clutch, flywheel bolts, valve cover gaskets? Am I missing anything?

Make sure you get a complete clutch kit including clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Also don't forget the pilot bearing, other than that your list looks complete.
