How many 4 eye owners in Washington and Oregon would want to "sleep over" with tents, volley ball and smores if I had a large field to house everybody? Would you be willing to pay a small fee to cover a porta-potty ??

Not saying anything about you; i think it was totally unintentional on your part....

.....But you came across a little bit "other than heterosexual" in your post....;)

hopefully trying to keep this out of the events section for now....remember that in the four-eye capitol of the world, we have very large gatherings...hint..hint..

Gee, I dunno, Neil. Not really into the camping thing. I'm just looking for the opportunity to eyeball some four-eyes while eating barbeque and taking part in a big bull session with fellow Fox enthusiasts on a sunny day. A little cruise arranged around scenic Arlington or wherever would be alright, too. And of course I'd be happy to cough up some dinero to help defray the organizer's expenses.

I guess the camping thing could be an option to those that would want to travel further, say from Oregon or BC (Snake?) as there was one person, Adam and his gal, that did just that last year. I do have a large field, but I was hoping to find a spot with grass and trees for shade. Still looking into that arena...more info as it comes together.

We just need to go and take over a campground!

Camping's not a bad idea, but for me, it would take more time to load the than to drive to your place. Setting up a 'rod run' or a mini Pony Trails would be fun. Nice little drive out to Rockport or Camano Is St Parks. Have a picnic lunch. Head back to your spread and have the BBQ. It would be cool to have a chain of 4 eye's traveling down the back roads. 8)

Today I checked on a local spot where a large car show is held each year. This is a fantastic site with a hall, bathrooms, kitchen, grass, pond, trees, ect. In the past, there have been 400+ cars at this site, mostly in the shade. The manager wanted $400.00 to rent the place, and the only date available was early July....I said "no thanks"...I will keep thinking about a site.

Twister, your right...camp out is better. I am getting low response on a camp out due to lugging camping gear around. will probably be a long-one-day thing....are you going to make it ??

If you do invade a campground, just don't use one of their picnic tables for bonfire fuel. Really. Bad, bad idea.

Here it is May 5th and we still have not set a date.
What are we going to do?
Neil, call me and lets get this BBQ rolling.

The first thing you have to do, Dave, is to check the general BS section for a hint of things to come....I can't believe the rest of the northwest 4 eyes havn't picked up on this yet......
