Well as luck would have it my SVO is missing the a/c system. Like many older vehicals it was removed. All that was left is the evaporator and the condensor. They were never capped off so I guess one could say I need it all. Were does one begin looking for this stuff? Normally I wouldn't care, but if your out on a date the ladies tend to like the a/c when it is humid and sticky.

Figure out the correct part numbers for all what you need.

Head over to ebay...there are people selling perfectly good discounted new AC parts.

I picked up most things for cheap and got the rest by searching partsvoice.com wiht the part number.

Compressor is the Tecumseh HR980. Very hard to come by. Some floating around here and there.

AC accumulator and lines-obsolete, same deal. Got one on eBay for cheap. Very hard to find. Look for 80s LTD2 ones, they fit.

Evap core and condensor. Suitable replacements available from Delco and Spectra.

Or, you could drop $700 buck for the Motion Dynamics R134a kit. Some guys at SVOCA are using it with good results.

The Motion Dynamics kit sounds interesting. I browsed their website and found nothing about it. Is it a complete deal?

It was, possibly they discontinued it. Might want to call over there and ask for Jim. I think it used a Sanden style compressor. Their website is in a shambles. been that way for a year or more. Might want to call rather than rely on it.
