It has come up as an idea that us members from wisconsin should get together. i was thinking it's very possible as there isn't alot of us. It could be a good way to shake off the last remainants of winter or we could have it mid summer just for the hell of it. any body have any ideas? who's all interested?

Mid to late summer would work for me. As I have no license right now, it would be hard to get my car there. I think I will have to drive the 85 GT as it just needs new fuel injectors to be driveable again. I would love to have the 84 LX 5.0 done by then, but don't see that realisticly happening. I will also have a buddy who has an 83 GL that would come too most likely. Wonder where a good place for everybody to gather would be?

i was thinking bout that too, most of the members are farther down south, which is bad for me, but i was thinking....we have lots of back roads up here.....and not many cops.... :twisted: lol. mid to late summer works out good for me too, i can't race ne one tho, mines stock... :(

My 85 only has headers, factory 4 cat h-pipe, and 4.10's. Sounds like a good fair race.

mine has the t5 3:08 and that's it stock exhaust...wait no egr crap

Ok, my car has CFI :( and AOD (can we say power robber). Probably be an OK race.

I wonder if anybody on here is from Appleton/Oshkosh area. That would seem to be a good area to meet up. I know there are a couple of guys within a half hour of me that are on here.

ya i think i can go for that, oshkosh isn't too far away once ya hit the highway. i just wish i had more under the hood

That just might work for me. I get my license back in mid-May. I will try to get the 85 GT up and going, as it is in need of new fuel injectors. I hope that is all that is wrong with it! Its far from show condition, but I will still drive it up there. I will also talk my buddy into coming up and bringing his 83 GL up too, another non show car. I didn't even know there was a Mustang show with both the car and one of the greatest planes ever. Cool.

I'm up for it, even though my car is far from being done. haha, you're not the only one... I have my capri sitting, with a nice, pretty engine next to it.. with no tranny to go behind it...

a campout thihng would be cool, i don't know if i'll be able to go down to oshkosh, i might have plans....i'm in a parade for the 4th, they might have it on saturday i dunno. who knows maybe we should have a tour! start down south and go cross state...wait....3 bucks a gallon....wisconsin isn't that small :(

What does everyone think about getting together in early to mid August?? Also, I know there are more WI people than who has all replied to this!!! Come on people, lets get a good crowd going!! And no excuses like "my car isn't pretty" or "it doesn't have any power". I will most likely be driving my 85 GT which is in need of body work. I will also be trying to get my buddy with the 83 GL to come, and maybe my buddy with the 85 Capri RS.

ya mine isn't going to be powerful at all, i have a friend with a capri he'll prolly go too! we need to do something with our four eyes

The only mods on my 85 GT are 89 exhaust and turbine wheels. And I have CFI too!!! lol :D

well... the eaa day in oshkosh still stands, and the campout I listed earlier is still going on, anybody is welcome to come...

and the only mods to my car are turbines.. everythign else is original from 1983 hehehe.. wanna race?

my motor will be done by then but it still wont be painted...my motor will be all stock on the bottom end...I have an edlebrock 600carb, rpm performer intake, gt 40 heads that are all redone, comp cam and headers and flowmaster exhaust...i also have cobra air cleaner and valve covers for looks...to go with the cobra replica wheels....cant wait for spring.....

Don't feel bad. I am still waiting for the funds to build up so I can get a clutch, tranny, and paint on my 84 LX. Plus, no license til next month, so the 85 sits and waits for its new injectors. :(
