Scott,
I think over on corner-carvers I had posted about your brake poprotioning difficulties (Scott has 13" CObra fronts with some sort of large bore caliper Lincoln/Caddylarge rear rear discs). At issue was the lack of slope adjustability on aftermarket proportioing valves, after the split point, thus not solving your rear wheel lockup issue.
Anyhow, I was reading the 1985 service manual last night as my brake light keeps coming on and the forward resivour was low.
I noted that the stock '85 LTD sedan proportioning valve was 300 psi split point, 0.38 slope after the split.
The SVO 1885 proportioning valve has a 200 psi with a 0.28 slope. THe low pressure at which split occurs, along with the greatly reduced pressure increase to the rears should help your rear wheel lockup issue.
Something to think about or try anyway - zak.
