I drive through Kansas several times a year, often stopping for gas in Wichita or Salina. Does that count?

Lawrence for now, but soon back to (sadly) Overland Park.....land of the rich, and what you can do for them.
Lets play the "feels out of place" game.

I don't know anyone with fords around here. They all have Chevy's. Check my "garage" at cardomain.com/id/stangmodifier. I also have a 64 and a 63 falcon 2 door wagon projects, a 83 Capri, a 89 Mustang and 86 Merkur that aren't listed or pictured. I sold the 68 fastback 1 1/2 years ago but I still have all the others. I may be tradin my McLaren vert for 2 Mclaren coupes this weekend. I think I qualify as a FORD guy for sure.

Salina boys.
Chris helps crew my brothers car when I'm not able to, he also had a big hand in the build up. (VERY stock looking grey 86 Capri that is now making over 1200hp and has run an 8.39 at 170mph). He's worked for ProCharger and MC Racing.

Damn that is a fast capri. It looks like one that was for sale on ebay a year and a half or two ago in the Leavenworth area. Same color and the interior was totally disassembled. Is it the same car? I don't know a soul in Salina but I go there very often.

I know the car you speak of. My brother actually tried buying that one as a daily driver and having its twin as a race car...

Did I read somewhere Hooptie, you don't have a foureye or even a foxbody??

Correct. I first registered when I had an 85 5 liter Coupe, then bought an 86 SVO that eventually put down 300hp.
Now I have a Honda Nighthawk and a 4x4 ranger.

Yo, representin' Goodland
I'm in KS, don't have a capri in driveable condition but that is about to change hopefully. I also don't have very much free time, that is going to change too.

Why don't you all gather someplace warm on August 19th and join in on the "World-wide F.E.P. BBQ Day". Just gather, have some food, take some pics, and report back to FEP....Let's make this an annual event on the same saturday in August. Did I mention someplace warm??
Hooptie, did the check on the power valve help?

I was born, raised and I live in Wichita. I am hoping to meet 86coppernotch tomorrow in Great Bend at the Shelby Event. I am not looking forward to the heat, but think it will be worth the drive. A get-together would be cool, in either the spring or fall.

I'll look for you. Chris will be showing his car. I'll be driving my truck, unfortunately my car won't be there.
