I say I am going to go every year and something usually comes up (I usually talk myself out of it by saying my car isn't nice enough). Is it too late to register? I've heard it fills up months in advance. Ken.
Download, print, and send the form in ASAP! Give it a shot and see if you can get in.
Also, it doesn't matter what your car looks like... it's not that type of show.

Where is Po Folks and what time do you guys normally meet there? I want to make sure I make it there using the correct time zone time. Is California an hour eairler than Arizona? Thanks, Ken.
We will be meeting at Po Folks at 8am the morning of the show then after eating we'll caravan in together. I'm hoping all of the FEP people who are entering the show can park their cars all in the same spot.
Cali time... well... I think we're back one hour.

Sounds like a good plan since the www.maverick.to guy's are all going to the Denny's..... Nothing like trying to jam several car groups together all in one restaurant....

I may, the maverick folks wanna cruise up, as well the mustang folks, as well the bronco folks. I'm "closest" with you stang people, but am friends with everyone, BUT, my bronco runs, and the stang/maverick does not. I'll Likely go with you guys though.

Yeah I think 7:30 is good. The last few years we met up at 7, but the restaurant doesn't open until 7 which means we have to wait a while for food anyway, plus I might be caravaning up from San Diego with some Mustang guys and they will be leaving Carlsbad at 6:30 or so.

I'm not an expert in the area, but you may want to take I-10 to 60 to the 91. You'll bypass San Bernadino that way.

Heh, heh..... I'm riding with a guy that has a '70 Maverick since I blew my rear diff to pieces last Sunday. His truck, I'm riding in it, & its his call as to what group we meet with. He does not have a Mustang, soooooo...... ;)

7:00 AM at Po Folks. 10 to 60 to 91..Sounds good to me. I may have to carry a couple of cans of brake clean. I'm going to replace the drivers side axle seal on Wednesday after work. I took Monday off and changed it but the guy gave me the wrong seal and when I got to work today the inside of the wheel was full of stinky gear oil. Please no jokes about my stinky car when I arrive (I hope the seal cures the leak)! Ken.

LOL, no I found two sets of rear window louvers in the yards, and grabbed them both. Jasen wants a set for his 85, so I may bring them to him.
I have a set for an early car such as yours too, hint hint
Jeremy... yeah... I'm still interested in the louvers... but I wasn't going to ask you to bring them to the show. Because of their size and me bringing my LTD... I really don't have a car to put them in.
But if you were to give me the mesurments I could see if they'll fit in the LTD's trunk. We need to be sure they're the correct louvers for that year too.

Looks like the weather should be clear until at least Sunday evening. My freshly detailed car has been safely garaged all week at my parents' place.
BTW, Frink84 (previous owner of my car) will not be showing because he didn't send in his registration on time. Neither did Ray (the guy with the black LTD LX who is usually with us). And neither did Ken. So it looks like the non-Mustang four eyes representation will be small this year :(

Hey... why not change that number on the card to the non-mustang number... then you can hang with the FEP non-mustnag people. I wish I did that last year with my GT.

Just FYI, I will probably be at Po Folks at about 7:30. I'll be driving up with a local Mustang group that I'm a part of and we'll be leaving Carlsbad at approx 6:30.

Hey, It's 1am Monday and I just pulled in from Knott's Berry Farm. The Fairmont ran great and averaged 20MPG. It was great hanging with you guys and I hope to do it again. Ken.

Wow.... I was quite impressed by the dedicated individuals whom trecked in from Washington, Nevada, Arizona, etc for the show! It takes a "die hard" Fordinatic to do it; especially if they have to work Monday morning! ;)

I must admit that between James, Jasen and Scott I learned quite a bit about those LTD LXs. They were cool right out of the factory. Good luck Dean, I hope by seeing some of my little rough spots :oops: you can avoid some head aches, Ken.
