Where else?

Car companies have a track record of shipping old tooling to other countries and producing cars long after American production ceased......where else were Fox bodies produced? And until when? There might be some sources for NOS parts like dew wipes and dash pads etc.
If someone researched this; it might be an excellant business oppurtunity for someone.

No idea where to get that info, but I know that Ford did build several Fox body models in South America. There was a guy on another Fox board who lives in Argentina who owns a "Granada Elite" which is the same as a Fox LTD.

I know that Ford produced the Falcon up till 1980 something in South America and Australia.........Made me wonder about Foxes.......I wish I knew how to research it.
VW kept making the old beetle in Mexico until a couple of years ago!

Ford is STILL producing the Falcon in Australia, but it hasn't been the same as any of the US-spec Falcons since like 1970.

Brazil and Argentina, on the other hand produced the Falcon in the same 1960s body style (with update nose and tail) until the late 1980s.
