We just had one in December of this past year, and of course there will be more.

Just keep your eyes peeled and ears open for the next shibang.

Do you have an SVO? And have you ran it at Irwindale?

I took the svo to irwindale once..maybe twice... I don't like the 1/8 mile stuff... But Probably be going to practice the launch... Had planned to take the car to LACR today (sun) but after what we found at the dyno (RET,Downey) It would be a waste of time and dangerous...

South Bay Mustang Owners club of SoCal (SBMO) has a meeting on the first wed of every month at Ricky and Ronnie's in Torrance Ca. http://www.rickyandronnies.com/ . The meeting starts at 7pm at the club house.

I'm usually there with either my LTD LX or my GT.

as far as a meet, someone just has to say when and where.

usually it winds up being a hangout at my house,

although, I'm waiting for fordfreak to give the thumbs up for his place again (yucca valley, fun little cruise)

most of us are game, there is about 6-8 of us and growing that consistently meet up every couple of months are so.

A local(San Bernardino) hangout for dyno junkies & Mustang fanatics is at S.T.Motorsports M-F after work(4pm-7pm minimum; maybe much later...).
I'll be there tonight burning a fresh chip in prep for Irwindale Thursday night. Adam & myself will be there at a minimum(at Irwindale); then we hit Perris Friday night if we don't break anything...;)

Adam's '05 GT is already running 7.20's at 97+mph in the eighth; 11.50's@122mph in the quarter.....

I might run 7.99@88mph.... We'll see.....

If it's gonna be that weekend; better make it "official" so people have time to plan!

Should start a "new" thread so it catches anybody not paying attention as well.....

The meetings for the foureyed fanatics & whanna bee's (like me) usually happen at Jeremy's place in Corona or at Mark's place out in the middle of frigg'in nowhere ;) .

The 1\4 mile tracks are getting scarce: Palmdale(www.lacr.net)& Fontana(www.californiaspeedway.com) are the most southern tracks around. Fontana is under construction till late April; but it is always a good track. Banning is supposedly in the process of being built, but until they find an additional 6 million in funds; it ain't happening anytime soon.....

The 1\8 mile tracks are all over....
Irwindale on Thursday nights, Perris on friday nights, Quannico stadium (spelling likely very wrong),& allot more I probably don't know about.

There are no 1/4 mile tracks within 100 miles of San Diego. It stinks. The last one left was only about 10 miles from you but it closed a couple of years ago.

There are 1/8 mile tracks at Barona Indian reservation (eastern San Diego Co) and at Qualcomm stadium, but the latter is just a parking lot converted to drag strip and is not a good track for traction. But it's still fun.
