replacement sheet metal panel patches

Does anyone carry panel patches for the rear lower 1/4s yet, or is this still a cut off a donor car thing. i picked up an 85gt t top car today and the rear panels behind the rear tires are a lil rusty, I dont relay feel like going to a junkyard and cutting off the sections, nor dragging home an old beater car and have to haul it off. So where can i find them ;)

Dont believe they make patches yet. You can buy the Whole quater new, but its like $500. I think you will just have to do the Junkyard/ donor car thing. TL

Thanks man, the more I dug into the car yesterday the more cancer I found. Both rear 1/4s behind the wheels are rusty and theres some rust up high in the 1/4 by the upper decklid. Cant see it from outside but underneath where its hard to access you can. Pretty sure this ones a gonner so I may be parting it out. Sure someone could use some parts. I guess my quest for a clean 85-86 is still on :(

Well guys, hate to say it but Im gonna go ahead and cut this one up. The rust work isnt worth messing with and the more and more i get into it the more I find. Gonna cut the roof off, someone may want it, the mouldings are gonna get cleaned up and if deemed fine get posted on egay or here. The bumper cover in front has no tears so its still good. Decklid, doors etc are all shot. Sucks cause its hard to find a stang that hasnt been popped in the nose and has a good radiator support. I may clip it in front so I have a smaller engine bay for my twin turbo/single turbo header mock ups Im starting.
