Been a while since I've frequented this site. (my bad).
In either case, been racing (as usual).
Car went a best (on motor, n/a), of a 9.62 @ 141 mph with a 1.34 60' last year.
With a little 'toy' nitrous sytem (antique 150 shot), it went a 9.0 @ 149.88 mph with a 1.28 60'. (torque converter screaming HOLY HELL, and totally wrong gears for the nos app).
Anyway, that's my story, and I"m sticking to it.
79 stang, weight 2550. 711 hp, 565 tq. C4 trans. 418 cubes (windsor stroker). Narrowed 9", 4.30s w/spool. Slicks, yada, yada, yada.

On one run (the one titled juice2), is when the rear end literally twisted in the housing. It bent the wheelie wheels/arms. and a bunch of other stuff.
Literally twisted the rear (9"), axle housing. I did NOT at that time have it reinforced, (big bar welded on rear).
It's since then been repaired, and almost put back together.
Yeah, it's fun..........but expensive..........especially when 99% of it is 'out of pocket;'.

all I can say is wow. That looks like it was a whole lot of fun. Nice looking car too. I love in car vid. The center mark on your steering wheel showed how much you where steerign to keep the car straight. Would be good to show that to people who thing going fast in a straightlien is easy. The car doesn;t just go straight you have to keep it there.

Thanks. Yeah , it's fun, but expensive, (especially when I don't race (much), for money. Just go to different tracks (when mustang events are held, etc, etc), and have fun.
Plus always sorting out new ideas, suspension/tune wise to see if it can go faster and faster.
And, thanks for the kudos.
