i sold him a cover which he said wouldn't fit. He wanted a refund but didn't want to return the part so I could send out another cover. I finally got the part back after 2 1/2 weeks and his money was promptly refunded. Here is a copy of the e-mail he sent me.

Sorry for my loss in shipping.... you had one too.....
YOU had one because YOU made a mistake, now
I also have a loss because you made a mistake.

Thanks for nothing ASSHOLE.

First read this thread http://www.foureyedpride.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12593

Yes I called him an A$$hole - If you bought a part from someone and they sent you the wrong part and won't refund your cost to return the part to them, wouldn't you?

"I sold him a cover which he said wouldn't fit."
Of course it didn't fit it was for a T-45 My ad clearly said T-5

"He wanted a refund but didn't want to return the part so I could send out another cover."
Not true! Even if it was I did return the part to you.

"I finally got the part back after 2 1/2 weeks and his money was promptly refunded."
Very true, but again you refuse to refund my cost to send you back the wrong part that you sent me

Whoever reads this can come to their own conclusions, and I have done business with other members of this board with no problems.

WHY DO YOU KEEP LYING AND BRINGING UP THINGS THAT HAVE NO RELEVANCE?
REGARDLESS OF WHO DID OR SAID WHAT - ONE FACT, AND MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH YOU REMAINS! YOU SENT ME THE WRONG PART / MY AD SAID T-5 COVER YOU SENT ME A T-45 COVER. I RETURNED THAT PART TO YOU, AND YOU REFUNDED MY ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE. BUT YOU REFUSE TO REFUND MY COST TO SEND IT BACK TO YOU WHEN YOU MADE THE MISTAKE OF SENDING ME THE WRONG PART. YOU WOULD HAVE SAVED US TIME AND THIS BOARD SPACE IF YOU HAD SIMPLY DONE THE RIGHT THING AND REFUNDED MY COST TO SHIP YOU BACK YOUR MISTAKE.

I offered to rectify this situation and you refused. I agree that everyone on this board can come to their own conclusion. In fact, if anyone is in doubt about me or anything I sell, ck my e-Bay feedback record using the same name- fordtek1. 147 positive and 1 negative that was due to a buyer that did not pay.

"my e-Bay feedback"
If you recieved the wrong goods from someone on Ebay would you not expect them to pay the return shipping?

"I offered to rectify this situation and you refused"

Not true. Here are the facts... again because you keep forgetting them.

I AGREED TO BUY A PART FROM YOU.

I SENT YOU THE MONEY.

YOU SENT ME THE WRONG PART.

I COULD NOT WAIT FOR THE RIGHT PART FROM YOU SO I GOT ONE FROM SOMEONE ELSE.

I SENT THE PART BACK.

YOU REFUNDED MY COST FOR THE PART.

YOU REFUSE TO REFUND MY COST TO RETURN THE WRONG PART THAT YOU SHIPPED ME.

IT'S THAT SIMPLE.

You want to go deaper? You also tried telling me it was the right part I had to call Ford and make sure they didn't change bell housing designs before you would even consider refunding the part cost. It was not from a 93 mustang unless that car had a T-45 in it. If it did have a T-45 you shouldn't of said you had what I needed because I asked for a T-5 cover.

whatever floats your boat. I'm not trying to be difficult here. I said I had one from a 93 and you said you'd take it. So I don't feel as "I" made a mistake. You should have researched whether or not it would fit BEFORE you agreed to buy it. But when it's returned and if it's in the same shape as it was when I shipped it, I'll refund your money. If it's damaged, no refund shall be made. I do believe that's fair for both of us and hope you feel the same. Rick

You are right, but I was more pissed off about the whole principal of the matter than the $5.00 that was lost. I will let it go.

Instead of whining about the situation and name calling, Something like the following would be great. No bashing or anything involved simply, he/she was not that great of a seller in this particular situation. Just because you had one bad experiance with this person does not mean others will. I say keep it to one comment per person in this forum, and let others make their own mistakes, if they choose to do business with a user after a negative comment thats their own business. We dont need emails and stuff posted, simply state your reasons for the bad transaction and leave it at that.

Example.

I did not like the business with user x because of this reason. It may be a one time thing only but I am very displeased with how things went. I would not do business buying from user x again.

I wanted to order a calander, but had no way to do so. Darin offered to order one for me when he ordered his, and after some thought, I agreed. Best move I have made; he ordered it for me and kept me abreast of what was going on the whole time. I got the calander yesterday and must say that without his help, I would be much less happy with my 4eye life. Thanks Darin, I would gladly do business with you again :D .

Darin advertised as set of Maximum Motorsport Caster/Camber plates for a '79-'89 Mustang - new in box!

I PM'ed him and he answered right back. Good communications throughout and I got the parts in short order. The CC plates were exactly like he discribed - unused and it even came in it's original packaging. I'm a happy camper!

I'd gladly do business with Darin again too.
