coolant reservoir

i want to try to brighten up my coolant reservoir. its all yellowed but not discolored on the inside. any ideas on what to use, plastic cleaner? bleche white?

I've had good luck with the Castrol purple stuff and a lot of scrubbing
Not on the 'Stang, but on coolant overflow tanks and washer fluid res. on other cars

They'll clean up, up to a point
Sometimes a lot more than I thought, it's hard to tell what's cleanable, and where the plastic has actually changed color

I think sometimes they look yellowed and I though they were pretty much gonna stay that way- and it's really just layers of oil and road dust

Once you get to that point, where it's cleaned and brightened as much as it will, and the plastic itself has changed color, I haven't found a good solution for that

I'd try the purple stuff though
It really has surprised me
