RACED A 02 VORTEC GT

i street raced a 2002 vortec blown, all forged 4.6 last night.
on a 2nd gear roll at about 30 or 40 MPH he raped my little n/a 306
but then again hes got over 400hp to the wheel.
from a dead stop i hung with him until he stopped spining in 3rd, anyway
he only got me by about a car / car 1/2 .
think i can hang w/ a 150 shot???

Wouldnt doubt it. I raced an stock 87 notch, or what he claimed as stock with a 150 shot, in my 04 cobra and he hung very well. He did have some d/r's tho, but i was very impressed. TL

nothing fancy, just an NX 125 non adjustable plate.
i would'nt mind going to a 150 shot, but i need to get used to racing w/ this first, plus i only got it for $150 bottle and all, and the guy was nice enough to install & tune it for me.

recapp, on the kind of kitt i have. at first i thought it was an NX kit, but it's actualy a nitrous works non ajustable 125 hp w/ no purge 'noid.
and untill i get some tires, looks like there wont be any racing in site because she just don't hook worth a damn w/ radials on the gas, but next week i think im gonna get some of the new MT ET STREET RADIALS.

Yeah the MT Street Radials hook very very good..... :D

hmmm I bet if yu did som eresearch into it you might be able to change out the solenoids and have your self an adjustable nitrous kit. might have to change the lines too. Do some research into it. You just don;t have provisions for the jets and the solinoids obviously only provide enough fuel and enough N20 for the 125 shot. SO you replace them with solenoide that provide enough for more and use the jets to adjustthem and your set. You can find the solenoids on ebay for less a $100. You can fidn jets for cheap on there too.

for now the 125 will do, last sat. night i blew the head gaskets.
4 out of the 8 cylinders were blown out, but it'll be up and runnin by sat. night but no racing i'll be home watching the UFC fight on ppv.

sh*t who knows? I like both fighters, end in a Draw? Or the spur of luck the both knock one another out at the same time? I'm stumped. I say Couture..

I really want to see Shamrock and Ortiz go again!

oh, good luck on the n20 set-up! I'm thinking about going that route.
