Owner has it listed as a Mustang but my thoughts are it is a Capri. Either way it is a clean car. It would be a nice one for a Capri entusiast. Tell me what you all think.

"1ME" means Mercury, USA (The third character should be E, not H.) Capri unit numbers (last six characters of VIN) begin with "6".
So yes, that's a Capri.

It is an ascMcLaren convertible. Capri based.
It looks nice but is far far far from being toyed with. And probably was smashed in the front at some point.

Yep. His denial of it being hit is not sitting well with me given the incorrect stuff up front.

Ding!
I have NEVER heard a car getting a REBUILD title due to a LIEN on a car. That is pure BS I'm afraid.

The interior is in good shape. But, the exterior is a
mis mosh of Capri parts from various years.
Also,
Wrong with his production #'s....He spells Mclaren wrong and he say's it's a show car
i thought the verts all got the wood dash trim also.
A car can be hit and be repaired as good as new sometimes, the guy who fixed my 66 did an excellent job, but if the job was done well you don't try and hide the fact it was hit, this guy is an idiot, or gullible.
