I have heard that in a Rattle Can Krylon Semi-flat black 1613 is right
or PPG DCC-9449
What do you think?
Sorry if this in the wrong place.
Thanks

Let me know if you get any affirmative replies
I'll add them to the guide
(no Krylon or PPG #s for '79-'84 black trim in there so far)

I use the 1613 Krylon Semi-Flat Black for all of my underhood accessories that are bolted to the body and for all of my window trim when it needs to be resprayed. It leaves a nice satin type of look (mimicking the factory finish.) It is not too durable on the windshield molding though, and tends to chip easily. It's held up excellent on everything else. ;)

That would make sense as Eastwood's Underhood Black is also EW and SEM Trim Black...it's all the same thing

Slickshift,
I was talking with this person who was restoring a 79 PaceCar and this is where I got the info from. He said he had an NOS Black Trim Piece and then compared it to a Restored piece that he painted using the Krylon 1613 and he said that they were the same color.
