Who sells the closest color of rattle can dye for my Cobra

and it is black my console is red what would paint or dye should I use to make it look factory fresh.

Weren't they all black? The 85-86 grey consoles had a black rear ash tray.

I can take a picture but mine is red and my spare console is in a color called Oxblood its rear ashtray is Oxblood or brownish red.

Get some from MetroMustang.

If they don't have it, send them a good colored piece and they will match it for you. A local paint place may do it as well.
