Is there a way to know if my 83 t bird has the concentric(I think that it was it is called) on the end of the camshaft?
I am about to swap over to carb from EEC-III CFI.
The front cover does have the Block off plate for a mech pump.
I realize I could pull off the front cover, but could I pull off the block off plate and see if there is a concentric for the pump? Or maybe feel it?
If it does not have one then do I have to replace the cam? or can one bolt on?
The damn cfi has finally bit the dust. I think the map sensor is bad.
And because it is EEC-III guess how much it cost?...
Over 500 bucks from Ford!
And a bargain basement price of 285 from the local budget parts house!
Screw that!
I need to bite the bullet and get a carb, fuel pump, fuel lines and sump the tank. Already have a manifold.
What do you all recommend for intake bolts?
Feel free too provide links to your favorite kits.
ARP? What Can I expect for a price range on the bolt kits?
Any other advice appreciated.
Thanks
