See sig. It's my 75 mile a day commuter car as well.....

The car has nitrous; but I'm waiting for some dyno time to safely tune it in & I need to buy a controller.

Gone a best of 12.49-110. With Old school parts. Solid flat cam, popup pistons 69 windsor heads with Chevy valves. Dual quads on a lowriser Offenhauser 289 intake. and all the typical bolt ons.

I've gone a best of 12.42 @ 109 but am usually in the 12.70-12.80 range @ 107-110. I've pretty much got the same parts as my brother (306gt) except I have AFR 185's (58 cc's). With our combo's, high shifts (6,800 rpm's) are where it's at!

I don't have times yet, but hell I don't have the car here yet!!! (IT is coming from 500 miles away...

I'm not going old school though, I'll be going new school (363"~302 block, ported alum heads, HR cam)

all good though, you don't have any vids do you? How bout you Hissing?

13.2 @105

Best/only time at the track with this car. No traction with the Goodyear radials and stiff suspension. A lot more practice launching and shifting faster and smoother would make a big difference.

Motorsport crate shortblock, stock compression
F303 cam
Edelbrock Performer alum heads/intake (EFI)
70mm TB
75mm ProM MAF/24lb injectors
T-5
8.8 w/3.27 gears
24deg total timing @WOT (not intentionally set this way...found out later)
Extra 171 lbs of tools/tires/computer/etc in the car at the track.

Took care of these problems and it runs a bit stronger now. I'll get new times when they reopen next season.

little 150 shot, went 9.0 @ 149.88 with 1.28 60'. :o

The 83 saw 13.79 @ 96.29 1.86 60'

It has a stock 88 longblock converted to carb, deleted p/s and smog
Equal length shorties/BBK offroad H with welded in flows.
Under drives and elec fan(turned off for run)
I gained 4 tenths with the turbocoupe t5, because of the 3.97 1st gear :D.

The car still has the 7.5" 3.08 rear too .

I think If I recurve the distributor, I will see a few more 10's and a few mph

I read the 85 distributors maxed around 26* timig.

My best on motor has been a 11.53 @ 114. On the bottle 10.90 at 119+. My combo was a 10:1 351w w/ ported trickflows c4 reverse manual valvebody, Coan 4000 converter, 4:10 gears, hydraulic roller cam .576 lift. Going for mid to low tens on motor w/ the new combo-if I ever get it done!
