I was wondering what the correct dash gauge was for a 1985 mustang GT.

Alot of the GT's that I have seen come with this type of gauge:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1985-1986-Mustang-dash-gauge-bezel-trim_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34206QQitemZ458691 5082QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

but mine looks like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mustang-1979-80-81-82-83-84-85-86-Dash-pannel-GT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ40017QQitemZ80116998 79QQrdZ1

Which one is correct. I like the first one better. It looks cleaner to me but I dont want to put that one in my car if it is not correct for my year/trim. My car is an A/C car and I dont know if that makes much of a difference. It also has cruise control as well.

Comments/suggestions?

The second one you listed (the one in your car) with the faux machine screws is the 84-86 GT/RS one.

The first is the LX/GS one. Most people toss it and opt for the GT one.

The top link was for an LX, but the one you have is correct for a GT.

Fast responses! I would much rather it be orginal and thats the way I intend to keep it. Looks like I'm keeping the GT dash. Thanks for clearing it up for me.
