Anybody know what catagory my Cobra would go into? I am in the middle to end of restoring it and It is 90% original. Carpet an some other interior stuff are aftermarket and just the exterior is repainted the original color with the replacement graphics from Pheonix Graphics.. The tires are michelins but not the right size for the year. Driver door is replacement so the tag is gone.

Depends on if you're talking Mustang Club of America or whatever type of show you're going to. Unless it's a national club situation, most car shows have rules that differ from each other. Many have clueless judges when it comes to picking apart a certain type of car. Some allow 5 modifications, some 10. Some don't count things like batteries and tires, some do.
Just sorta depends.

I've been to a few Mustang Club of New England car shows (they're a chapter of the Mustang Club of America) and they usually have 3 classes. They are "Stock", "Mildly-Modified", and "Radically Modified." I would venture to guess that you'll still be classified in the "Stock" class.
I'm always in their "Mildly Modified" class as I can't compete against the superchargers, or other radically modified cars. Jim Silverman is the guy that runs this New England Chapter and he has served as a judge at many MCA events over the years. He's very nice and down to earth.
Like stated above, some judges are anal and have an ego that won't take a back seat to reason. I've had a few that wanted to put me in the "radically modified" class to compete against pro-street type cars. I argue and then they go and get someone who's been around a little longer and can reason with them.
