Well that helped a bit...new exhaust for the Z-7 [Archive]

Well, I got all the bits together and over the course of a couple evenings got the exhaust replaced in the '80 Z-7. I dumped the original cat and ran 2 1/4" from the downpipe to the muffler. I used a 2 1/2" SuperTurbo and a 2 1/2" tail pipe with an extra stainless Cobra tip I had. I also took the time today to get all the thermactor pump and other bits off as well and close off the air tubes. It's still not a screamer, but it does like it a bit more.

I wish PA didn't have all those fun emissions laws! If you keep up with plans for the aussie six or turbo four thats gonna be a really nice car.
