Well.... Either she runs good or breaks spectacularly..... ;)

FYI, last time I ran up there; I ran 13 oh's at 106mph through the cats, hot as heck air temps, & with an air quality\ density altitude of 6,000+feet. I'm only going to hit it in fourth at first & then in third & fourth.
Only a 70 shot & I'm a newbie to NOS.....

Ohhhhhhh the irony.... The car dropped a couple cylinders & overheated(blew the coolant reservor clean off the car) on the way to the track. Turned around & limped it home(5 miles). I'm so discusted right now that I won't even look at it until tomorrow morning.

It does not look good right now.....

Was the NOS engaged without the bottle flowing?

What happened (at least your idea?)

Currently..... I hope the thermostat simply stuck. the N2O was totally disabled & stays that way until I get too the track as a safety measure against myself;) (no power, fuel line not hooked up, bottle off, etc). I noticed the engine temps rise a touch above normal; but nothing to get worried about for the first 45 miles in stop & go traffic and at speed on the freeway. It was hot & humid; quite a bit above normal for this time of the year; so nothing seemed amiss. Then I stopped for gas & the temps shot straight up & the mess began. I'll certainly be keeping my fingers crossed tomorrow.....

Last night i was driving to the store to get milk and one of my buddies was behind me, well he had to try me.... :nono:
from a 40 mph roll, i took him by about 6-7 cars

Well, i believe it was nothing major & it was 100% my fault(kicking myself in the backside). I put an ASP 3" race crank pully on the car a week or two ago. I watched the temp gauge quite closely & found the temps stayed pretty low\consistant. What I did not take into account was the unseasonably cooler weather we were having. When the weather went back to the normal hot & slightly humid climate; my cooling system just could not deal with the slower water pump speeds..... Lesson learned.
Regular 4+ inch crank pulley going back on.....

you could also try a 93 Cobra overdriven water pump pulley. Just putting the regular underdrive crank pulley is the easiest fix though..

Good Luck!

I thought about that & might give it a try in the future.... ;)
