wiring help on a '82

There's a big grommet coming from the fire wall close to the Driver side valve cover with two plugs coming from it. What do these do???

Do you guages function? If the car is not running and you cant check them, then inspect the wires and look for common gauge wiring colors for water/oil/volt, etc.

That area is commonly held for the igintion wiring (colors can vary) , and the gauges.
