i currently own a 82 mustang. it has a 3.3l I6 motor. i just bought a complete 87 GT front k-member, includ brakes, and suspension components so i can drop a 91 mustang motor with EFI into my car. my Question is this. because the motor is a 91 it is setup for Mass
Air. i do not have the mass air meter, computer or the 91 wireing harness. i do have a 87 wiring harness. what do i need to do to get this done. what do i need to get to go eaither way. i figure speed density would be easier. but i dont know what computer i need. or should i go with mass air. once agian i dont know what computer, or if my 87 wiring harness will work. i think it will work if i get some sort of kit, with the mass air sensor and some additional wireing. any help is appreciated to help my swap. if i am compleately off in what i am doing tell me i have NEVER even looked at a mustangs EFI motor for the most part so i really am just piecing things together from reading web pages and forums.

Eh, just because an engine came from a car that had mass-air originally doesn't mean that's required when you swap it into another car. Speed density will work just fine. Or CFI, or carburetion.

Decide what you want to do and then we can tell you what needs to be modified, changed, etc.
