I don't need any now, but I just want some links to places for future reference. Also, I need a product to remove grease off some of my engine parts. Any favorites? list 'em.
Thx

you can get the hatch struts anywhere. ebay, autozone... and for degreasing use engine brite, or any citrus degreaser and a wire brush.

if you are looking for hatch struts on the cheap, get 'em from a boneyard. you can probably find a pair that are still good.

i was at murrays the other day and they had a lot of them for diff. applications hanging on the wall. i have a set off an 88 stang in my garage i got for cheap at a swap meet.
this brings up a question, are bubble back struts stronger? i put the 88 struts on cuz mine were a little weak and these one's were a lot weaker than what i already had, so i put the old one's back on. i would imagine that the capri hatch is a lot heavier than a stangs. for you you're all set because your car doesn't have the bubble, but can anyone answer this? sorry to kinda hijack your thread....
