ok this has been a nuisance to me and i'm fed up with it.
after running my car for awhile at operating temp and shutting it off, when i start it back up, and get on it even like 2 minutes later, around 4g's it seems like it starves for fuel, and the car starts bucking. i have a edelbrock 600 cfm with electric choke and stock intake with a carter fuel pump. it's seems like a heat related problem, but what is it? i thought maybe it was from the fuel line getting hot since there wasn't any cool fuel flowing through and that it just takes a while to cool down, but i'm not sure. i was told it could be the choke but i dont know. it never does it when it's cooler only after i shut it off.
i can mess with pretty well anything under my hood except my carburetor. i plan to get taught soon. but i'm a little leary on touching it. i had it set up by my dad's friend who is a mechanic.
this is very frustrating and i wpuld really like to take care of this unless it is just a carb related problem. i thought of maybe finding some sort of insulator tape for the fuel line, but i figured i ask you guys for help before i end up possibly wasting time and money. i apprecaite any help you guys can give me.
