I Finally Found a T-top coupe! It's a 1983 ttop coupe that came from factory with a 5.0 and 5speed. It needs some body work and I am currently replacing the ugly brown interior to red and black(almost done). The headliner is going to be the hardest to do. The only thing I know you are all gunna hate is that I changed the back 1/4 windows to the newer 87-93 style( I had them so i put them in). http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2056221

Congratulations, you've found a holy grail of sorts. Can't get much better than that.

Very nice. I believe those are the rarest body configuration there is in a Fox.

The quarter windows are a common mod around here, although I'm not sure why you'd do it to a car like that. The farther it gets from original, the less desirable/valuable/interesting it is.

Where and how did you find it? Please post more pics of it here in your gallery. :tu:

p.s. - lose the wing thingee!

the car has a lot of potential

p.s. Lose the massive tailpipes and replace them with 2 1/4 or 2 1/2"

wow excellent score. If your looking for suggestions, I'd ditch the wing and swap back to the four eye coupe windows.

Good score...

As the others have said... ditch that goofy rear spoiler the extra-large pipes and swap the orginal quarter windows back on.

Basically make it look as original as possible. This will keep it's value up.

Nice looking ride! I haven't seen too many T-Top coupes, especially the '83's.

Congrats & Welcome to the club... I bought an 84 T-top coupe about 3-4 months ago. Haven't did anything to it yet, though. Been gathering parts for it and want to egt rid of my 86 before I start on it..

I wish my 82 GLX T-Roof Notch looked even half that good right now...

Get some nice 225 tires too and have them mounted so that you can't see the white writing. :)

Nice ride. :)

I'd leave the spoiler. It looks ok and it would be too much of a pain to fill the holes and repaint the deck lid anyway. It kinda looks like a Taurus SHO spoiler.

The tailpipes are almost ricer size and I think toning them down a little would look better, but if you like them what the hey, that's what counts. ;)

Have fun with it.

Nice looking car. The rear spoiler looks fine to me. After reading the responses, I was expecting something hideous.

well the car is in for paint and getting a restomod(slight). the original 1/4 windows are back in. and the spoiler is gone(the deck lid was so rusted from water getting through the spoiler bolt holes). check out my cardomain site for the recent pics. :D
