Gathering some ideas on drag suspension for one of my coupes which has a 418cid 550+hp engine and 10.5 slicks. Any recommendations?

For the rear:
Anti roll bar that welds to the frame is a must IMO. Baseline Suspension has some sweet upper control arm setups(i have one for my pace car), seems like most of the fastest guys are running his or something simular. Great company to work with. Make sure and weld up your tq boxes. Ofcourse some good lower control arms. Then you can go all out on fully adjustable coil overs in the rear and mini tub the car to run some bigger tires out back.
Front:
Tubular k-member a-arms with coil overs and some struts of your choice. Everyone is going adjustable now days instead of 90/10's or 70/30's it seems. You will need caster/camber plates with coil overs.
Subframes are a must if you dont have a full cage. Through the floors are the best.
Somethinglike that anyway.

I agree with FATHERFORD. Kevin @ baseline has a great kit for the rear. It is well engineered and is very high quality. Another great kit that works well and is cheap is the UPR pro series rear kit. Bob Kurgan runs NMRA Renegade and has 60' in the 1.2x range with it. I know a lot of other guys using it with great sucess.
The only front K-members to buy are AJE and PA Racing. They are more expensive but well worth the money. Especially on a street car. The Strange adjustabe struts and shocks are also a cheaper alternative that works very well.

Ronnie Wilson from Mustang Specialties in Ft. Lauderdale with Steeda Hardcore rear suspenion and QA1 from k-member/arms, Tokico Drag struts, with Steeda Coilover setup. He ran a 7.996 @ 170.2 mph with a 1.29 60 foot at FFW in Norwalk. That awesome!
