i took my 86 GT to the 8th my drag strip a couple weekends back . with the mods in my sig , plus 4.10 gear, clutch fan, and 155 feul pump , and worn out street tires . i was spinning in 1st and second and only launching at 2200-2500 rpms .
9.413
74 mph
2.1 60ft
.111 reaction time
does this sound about right for a stock motored car ?

I had a cam and intake, but no gears (2.73), and my best was 8.94 @ 80.39

My drivetrain was bone stock with the automatic, 2.73s, 27" tall tires and my 8th time was 9.8 and I was spinning some off the line with a peg leged rearend. Im sure your car is faster than a 9.4, you just need practice and some better tires wont hurt either.

I smell 8's in your future.
A pair of Drag Radials and more practicing launching on those should get your 60' time down to a 1.9 or so and that should net you a nice 9.0 or 8.9.

Yeah but your car was fairly light (lighter now) and you didn't have the 86HO wonder heads and intake :P
