I don't know what it is but people love to hit me when I'm sitting at stop lights..
I was going to drive the Mustang this morning. When we put the carb back on last night and fired it up I found I'd cut an O ring on the transfer tube.(big fuel leak) If that hadn't happened it would have been hit today and probably totaled. Maybe it knew what was going down and wet itself to get outa the way.

Actually, had you drove the Mustang...you'd probably drove differently or something and probably wouldn't have been anywhere near an accident...
But only the cosmo knows....cause I know I'd been driving faster

And with a vehicle that new, you probably won't get it totalled. Not sure if that's good or bad.

What is it about red Mustangs that seem to render them invisible to people? I've been hit twice in the last six months in my bright red '92 hatch, and both times it was by women in red SUV's (Jimmy and Durango). I'm beginning to get paranoid. 8O

It's women drivers. They should all have their license taken away.

I had a bright red Merkur XR4Ti, and I had the same problem with it for some reason.

I'm glad your OK Scott. You need to come by and check out the Saleen one of these day's. Maybe when the stang is up and running you could swing by and show off.

That really sucks, thats gonna be a fair $$ too fix. New bumper, new rear door, gonna need some work on the bracket. Hope they can get you in a shop soon. Its gonna take a least a week too fix. I expect that too be around 2000$ or better in damage.

Yeah it'll cost a bit..
I'm taking it in right now and picking up a rental Dodge Caravan on the ins companys bill..
As I see it it'll be a new rear hatch. rear interior pannels. bumper cover and internals. some damage to the door frame (bottom bent sides pinched..
One of the rear sholder belt mounts has moved.. thats buggin me a bit.
I'll bring the stang over soon Kyle.. I want to see that Saleen. I'm fresh out of O rings and the parts store takes 2 days to get em.. I ordered the new style transfer tube and seals for an extra $2
