Greetings and salutations! Bought an 84 GT vert back in late winter, figuring I'd have
it ready to go by the time the weather here in Mass. was good enough to drop the top. uhhhhh, right. Been on the road about two weeks now-still not ready for sticker, but close. Test drives limited to after dark so far! Stumbled onto FEP
while searching for info. GREAT SITE! Been visiting for a while, figured
it was time to join. Knowledge I've gained here has been invaluable in getting as far as I have. And, if I've learned one thing, it's that PICTURES ARE GOOD!!!! Guess I'll have to pick up a digital camera AND learn how to use it!
Looks like New England has an active group here-sure I'll see some of you at the Rodman Ford show on the 17th.

Welcome..

I just checked out your pic's. Is the car getting a SEFI swap or are you swapping that 87-93 motor in their with a carb on it?

Lots of friendly and knowledgeable people here.

Some times we are even both at the same time.

Evil86lx: for the immediate future, neither. Car has 138,000 on it, runs OK but does have some smoke and noise issues-nothing major. Just want to keep it on the road for the remainder of the summer as is. The motor on the stand is from a wrecked '90 LX w/ approx. 115,000. Would like to swap it in over the winter. Not sure yet how it's gonna be set up (carb or EFI),or even if it needs to be freshened up or not. Ultimately I think I would like it to be EFI-how quickly that happens may depend on what parts I can scare up.
