Well here is the dyno run. Sorry for the crappy quality of the pic I dont have a scanner and just shot a pic with my crappy camera.

This was the 7th consecutive pull with no real cool down time. 15 psi, 12 degree's of timeing, stock fuel pressure.

I just wanted to get a few baseline run's in and see what she would do at stock boost level's.

202 rwhp-257rwtq.

I'm not even getting close to the operating range of the turbo yet. I should make it back to the dyno next week and crank the boost up a little along with a custom chip.

I am wondering what mods are made to the svo, or is it basiclly stock and gonna get modded ?

I hope thats basicly stock because i made quite a bit more power(211rwhp 327ftlbs) on just an exhaust/boost controller, cone filter car and i was running a tad lean up top. Replaced the fuel pump and butt dyno said i gained quite a bit more.

Well I'm at 6k feet above sea level so my #'s will be lower.

That's great #'s for a car with just exhaust and a open filter. What kind of boost was that at.

Most people over at www.svoca.com and www.turboford.org only see right around the #'s that I'm getting at high boost and slightly less with stock boost level's.

Got a dyno graph that you want to share with everyone? I would really like to know more about a bsically stock SVO that put 300+ rwhp. Your making about 50 more lb's than most everyone else that has similar combo's.

Kyle, I think you read it wrong. I dont see anywhere on the thread anyone at 300 horse.

Either way,

His combo ;
3inch exhaust
255 pump
LA3
35's
Roller cam
Spearco front mount
Mistubishi bypass
open K/N
And a turbonetic's T04E 50 trim stage 3

AT STOCK boost levels. Everything he has done is NOT really going to add any power, but will support making more as soon as he cranks the boost up.

Really your only talking about adding power one way with what he has done. Lowered intake air temps. More efficent intercooler, and the turbo will have a lower temp at the SAME psi.

Other then that, he has a 3 inch exhuast. Spools faster, but not "adding" power until where the stock one would have been a restriction.

SO I say its very good numbers and will grow pretty nice once he gets off his ass and cranks the wick up!!!! ;)

oop's. I just re read the post and he said 327 lb's of torque not HP.

I have a new problem with the SVO.

It has been popping either the dipstick or the valve cover breater off lately. I secured the valve cover breather and took her out and she shot the dipstick out along with a 1/2 qt of oil everywhere. The bottom end is pretty new and it was assembled by a machine shop for the previous owner. I already did a compresion test and got 120 on 1-2-3 and 105 on 4.

I already changed out the PCV valve and that didnt help. Rich told me that I had a little puff of white smoke when I shift but it was hardly noticable.

I need to take it into work and do a leak down test. I really doubt that the problem is in the short block but it could be. The head that is on the car came out of a J/Y 86 T-bird and it already had the roller in it.

If the leak down test is good I'm going to yank the head and have it rebuilt and prob toss my square intake's on it if I can find the right dip stick tube and a 1035.

I'm trying to decide if I want to cut the head for bigger valve's and get a cam for it while I'm in their. that will depend on if their is a ring problem.

No biggie. I'm pretty patient and am more concerned with the car being right thatn how fast I can get it back onto the street. Untill then I have the Saleen to play with.

PLEASE tell me its a new Ford PCV valve!

I know you know the aftermarket ones are junk, but they are REALLY worse then what you have heard!

I had one lock in side ways after about 5 miles one time. I have also never seen one that sealed after it has been installed and run a few miles.

It's a ford PCV valve. :( I may try another one just for the fun of it one fo these day's.

It's kind of a bummer. The car feel's really strong at 20psi and will make power all the way to the rev limit of the LA3.

If I have to go through the bottom end I may change a few other thing's as well. I need to take the LA3 over to Scott so he can look at the different bin file's. We are looking into a speed density set up or just converting to MAF.

I dont know if you saw the pic's that Turbopit posted of the big ford meet at Bandimere. The **** brown RX7 that he snapped a pic of is the one that I helped do the 2.3t swap in. Scott just built a custom turned upper and we are going to tkae it to the dyno and play around with the LA3 a bit and see what we can do with it.

I dont suppose that you would have a good link to some LA3 bin file's would ya.

Not since the yahootuner group was deleted. I pretty much just ask Harry anymore. He is who wrote up my program anyway. Simple program, but I never took the time to learn the EEC tuner anyway.

My program is just a PE code, no limiter, maf conversion, and 52lb injectors. Even with the stock fuel curve, she was pretty much perfect.
