I am planning on putting a 351W/C4 in a '86 LX notch. The car will be strictly a drag car. Who makes long tube headers for this combonation. Every header co. I have researched that has long tube hearers for the 351W, says "For 5 speed only". I don't want to use those el-cheapo headers like Flow tech. I like the price range of the BBK's, & Mac. I don't want to have to spend a small fortune on costom made headers.

get ahold of summit and get a box of tubes and mock up a set and see if a local muffler shop will make up a set of tubes to your patterns.
or get intouch with either kooks or stahl's custom headers for them to make a set for you

Mac are the most el cheapo out there.
I have flowtech ceramic shorties. The best 300 pair of ceramic shortie headers out there imo.
You can get better...
Just plan on paying for them.
some like the jba's.
A TOP of the LINE quality set of ceramic headers start at around 600 bucks.

Whatever you do, I recommend a one piece flange of at least 3/8 thickness.
Good Luck, and take some pics of what you end up getting!

MAC has what you need. They may be inexspensive but they fit and they last. I'm going on 8 years with the same set and they still look pretty good.
