when I bought my 85 gt
someone had taken the time to sloppily slap in some kind of white face sticker deal for the guages....
it looked ok, but the floor h-vac lighted up orange, and the a/c and climate control panel lighted up orange
the guages white they took the orange/ red caps off the bulbs
that annoyed th crap out of me!!!
plus the oil guage and alt meter never really worked
so I made an accidental discovery, when I bought a salvage guage cluster from the scrapyard, went home and put it in I was amazed to find it lit up a blueish greenish color
so this agitated me i though that was awsome cause it matched my ligh regatta blue paint,
but the rest was orange,
so I went back
and stole the rest of the dash.... the a/c panel, I couldn't find lil blue light bulbs so I painted the lightbulbs in the h-vac monitoring system blue
now everything lights up blue at night its pretty sweet I should take pics sometime.
now only if 85 originally had the same interior dash lights as the early fox's my life woulda been alot easier.
just some food for though for you all out there
