opinions on melding this to 85gt front????

I found one of these on ebay and just wondered if it could be melded to the front of my 85gt fascia?

I know it wouldnt be near a close fit or easily done but kinda like the Mach 1 chin spoiler from the 2001s or whatever. Id like to do something a bit more custom without using a body kit. I just wanna add to the stock appearence. Plus I kinda magnled my MachI chin spoiler a month or so ago on a steep driveway. Any input?

Depends on your skill & what type of plastic it's made of(ABS probably).

Some plastics can be cut & re-welded back together(The air intake silencer for instance). If this spoiler is made of the same stuff; you will be able to cut, section, heat with a torch or hair dryer to form in a different shape, use a soldering iron to "weld" it back together again, etc.

But, I gotta be honest here.... Odd's are the first spoiler would be "practice"....;)

I figured it take alot of toyin with but I think its look kinda cool. My problem with the chin spoiler I have now is its kinda wavy due to cutting and boltin it to the car. Just lookin for options...

we got a chin spoiler out in the shed we were going to put on Kevins capri but couldn't get it to mount right we tryed rivets and that didn't work now that i think about it should have used 2 sided tape. any way we got it out of jc whitney don't know if they have them any more

Whats up 83rsturbo? Lookin throught those picts that spoiler seems to be somethning else from what Im talkin about. I cant really say what kind it is. Is the very first pict, the whole thing on the driveway, is it set up right like it would bolt to the car or is it upside down? Sorry for the long delay in reply. Away form home and a fast computer! lol. later
