Yes it is possible but it isnt very pretty.

I'd think it would be better to sell the toploader and use the money to install a T-5.

I was considering a proshifted toploader for my car. I like the option of being able to use an inline shifter for some hardcore gear banging and no missed shifts.

The Bellhousing seems like it would bolt up the only problem i can see is that the shifter is too far forward. I know that the tranny came outta a bronco and its a shame to not use it I got it for free and it was rebuilt and used for 2 weeks b4 the truck it was in was burned.

Your better off selling that trans and if you still want to go with a toploader get one from a early mustang 66-69 ,it will come out closer to the hole than the one you have now .. And for the guy that was thinking abought a Liberty Proshift toploader ,I use one in my 1966 mustang coupe with a 5.0 motor with a 9 inch rear and a vertigate shifter and it works great the best trans I have used for dragracing and tough as hell . Have not missed a shift yet . Car runs 11.48 on a 75 shot . I have meet David Kee and he really knows his stuff give him a call . :D Robert
