I don';t think its the padding...it prbably the seat frame. You need to disassemble the seat and take it to a welder.

You may have to open'er up
I think negusm's right
Something in there is broke-not mushed padding
....actually, even if the padding collapsed you'll still have to open it up to re-stuff it
Open'er up moelll!

those frames snap like twigs. Half the time, even when welded back together, they're still crooked as hell. go with thomas to the yards, and score new seatback frames and swap the material, which is very very easy

DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GET THE FOAM,I NEED THE SAME THING,MY SEATFRAMES ARE MINT,THE FOAM HAS LOST IT'S DENSITY,AND ALSO IT IS TORN WHERE IT MEETS THE FRAME,SO IT FALLS THRU TO THE BACK HALF OF SEAT FRAME...I CANNOT FIND ANYONE THAT SELLS NEW PADS,IF U DO LET ME KNOW PLEASE

Usually the foam does not deteriorate, so if you know you need good foam, somebody should be able to find you some from a junkyard.
From what v8only says, its very very easy to remove the old foam and replace it.
V8only may be able to source you some stuff too.
