2 questions about my mustang........

1. OK want to ditch my monster tach and just run my stock tach with a shift like. Is there a specific wire I can tap into so it pics up the signal from the msd? Car has a 408 in it now, nothing really stock.

2. Is there a thread around here that shows ow to repair your dash top? Mine is pretty bad and I thought i read somewhere about fiberglassing or something. I dont want to shell out the $$ for a new top.

so it is possible to just run a wire from the stock tach to the plug on the msd box? I dont need an adapter or anything?

you will need an adapter for the tach not theshif light

I put my aftermarket tach in where my stock tach used to be.

being that the stock tach accepts a standard signal why couldnt you just hook it up to the msd?
